‘Love Nature’ cross stitch, a seasonal design showing a window into our four seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
In Spring time, we have a sweet lamb under a tree with fresh pink blossom ; in the Summer, there is a strawberry pot and beehive surrounded by buzzing bees and fluttering butterflies; the Autumn has an owl perched up high above the hedgehog next to a basket of overflowing apples and fallen leaves; and the Winter window shows a friendly snowman wrapped up for the snow. A sampler full of seasonal colours.
Alternative Welsh adaptation also included - ‘Caru Natur'.
The design mainly includes whole cross stitch. Backstitch is also used for the small lettering and to add detail to a few motifs, plus one French Knot on the little brown bird.
The model has been stitched on Zweigart Cream 28 count Brittney evenweave. Designed to be stitched on Cream 14 count aida or 28 count Brittney evenweave fabric using DMC stranded cotton threads.
