Hiraeth cross stitch sampler, an iconic Welsh word used to describe a longing for something dear to your heart. The design includes motifs which remind us of home, love, a warm welcome and that cup of tea with a Welsh cake visiting friends and family. The Welsh 'brethyn' and patchwork remind us of being home in Wales itself.
Designed to be embroidered on White fabric using DMC stranded cotton threads. Available as a chart only or a kit supplied with either 14ct aida or 28ct linen / evenweave fabric.
The design is mainly stitched as whole cross stitch.
Backstitch is also used for the lettering and a few little motifs.
