Dydd Gwyl Dewi - St. David's Day, a taste of St. David's Day in counted cross stitch featuring a friendly little Welsh lady in her national costume, a host of Spring daffodils, Welsh cakes, 'Bara Brith', Welsh cawl, traditional harp music and St. David's message to us all, 'Do the little things' or in Welsh, 'Gwnewch y pethau bychain', all enclosed in a frame of Welsh cloth panels.
This design reminds us of how we celebrate St. David's Day, the patron saint of Wales, on March 1st.
The design is mainly stitched as whole cross stitch.
Backstitch and long stitch is also used to add some details to a few of the motifs and two french knots.
Both Welsh and English text included with the pattern.
