A colourful Christmas cross stitch design intended to be stitched as a keepsake to be brought out on display during the festive season. A great family heirloom which could be handed down to the next generation. Quirky bespoke lettering creates the 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' greeting surrounded by seasonal motifs. Fun and quick to stitch as each letter and motif come together to create a modern christmas themed sampler for the home. I have presented the design made into a hanging but this could also be framed.
 
The design contains whole cross stitches, fractionals and french knots. Backstitching is also used to emphasise the outline of the larger bespoke lettering and detailing on some of the motifs. Golden satin thread and a glistening icy blue thread along with beads add that sparkly feel to this festive design.
